Aoiro(Headquarters: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan; President: Takanori Aoki;) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a capital and business alliance with Food Discovery K.K. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter "Food Discovery") for product development and marketing activities in the health-tech market.
Purpose and Significance of the Business Alliance
Aoiro operates the EC site "Aoiro.shop" and has been selling the "Airofit" respiratory muscle training device from Denmark since 2021.
Food Discovery operates the "Athlete Food Meister Training Course," which has been taken by more than 20,000 swimmers, baseball players, and their spouses who are active in world-scale competitions. In order to maximize the performance of athletes, we provide the most suitable food program for each age group, event, and season.
Through this business alliance, we will utilize Aoiro's health-tech products and sales base, and Food Discovery's network of athletes and others, to communicate the appeal and effectiveness of our products not only to athletes and users who enjoy sports but also to users who aim to improve the quality of their lives. In addition, we will continue to develop new products. In addition to the development of new products, we aim to revitalize the health tech products market by facilitating the marketing of overseas products in the domestic market.
As a first step, we will work to revitalize the "lung activity" market in Japan, starting with the development of the "Airofit" respiratory muscle training device. In the future, we aim to develop health tech products from Japan on a global scale.
